Brattleboro Heat Softball

The Brattleboro Heat is a non-profit fast pitch softball program based out of Brattleboro, VT. The Heat was founded in 2008 and includes girls from Southern Vermont and Western New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Our teams are members of USASoftball and United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA), and we play in the Junior Olympic Fast Pitch Division.

Each of our team plays in 5-6 weekend tournaments. These tournaments run from late June through early August and are typically held in Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Connecticut, including teams from throughout the Northeast.  The Heat hosts its own tournament, the Summer Sizzler, in late June which serves as our kick-off for the season. The Brattleboro Heat has become a well respected program by tournament organizers and our peers throughout the region.

The Heat program provides players the opportunity to further develop their skills and knowledge of the game, while playing competitive softball against the best players from throughout New England. Most of all, players have fun and get to meet and play with others who share their passion for softball.  Many Heat players have also been successful in pursuing their dreams of playing college softball with 15+ Heat players going onto play at the college level.
